Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Traffic Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to conceptualize, design, determine methods and solutions for transportation planning and traffic operations that will make a difference now and in the future.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Working within a program to conceptualize and bring to fruition beneficial designs for transportation and traffic operations throughout project life cycles.

• Ensuring the safe and efficient movement of people and goods on roadways, enhancing travel experience.

• Analyze traffic patterns and design transportation improvements

• Implement traffic control measures to optimize traffic flow and enhance road safety

• Collect and analyze data on traffic volume, speed and any congestion to identify bottlenecks and make future traffic pattern predictions

• Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.

• Presenting designs to others

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation engineering from a recognized institution

• Minimum 10+ postgraduate years of experience and a minimum of 5 years of major roads/transportation projects within the GCC

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential

• Must possess knowledge of current technology and future trends and apply appropriate engineering software such as intelligent transportation systems (ITS),VISUM, VISSIM, Synchro, Sidra, HCS, EMME and CAD or transportation modeling.

• Ability to train others

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Member of Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation or similar

• PMP Certification

• KSA Driving License
