Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to manage and maintain both Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, including installation, configuration, and regular maintenance.
Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Implement and manage server security measures, including patch management, antivirus solutions, and access controls.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of server systems.
Develop and maintain documentation for server configurations, processes, and procedures.
Assist with server migrations, upgrades, and other related projects.
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate server management processes and develop code for various automation tasks.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelors degree and 4-6 years experience, OR 8+ years experience without a degree.

Proven experience as a Server Management Systems Administrator or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of both Windows and Linux server environments.
Knowledge and experience with CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) compliance requirements.
Knowledge in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Understanding of DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE) are a plus.
Experience with Tanium for server management.
Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) / Lean-Agile methodologies.
