This role requires strong leadership, coordination across multidisciplinary teams, and the management of resources and risks to ensure the successful and timely delivery of the relocations works. The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring project objectives are met, stakeholder expectations are managed, and all project activities are completed within the scope, time, and budget constraints.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Lead and manage the Relocations package, including enabling works, demolition, groundworks, and utility works from start to completion.
  • Ensure full alignment with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and coordinate all workstreams effectively.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of all aspects of the relocations package, ensuring that works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Work closely with the Logistics Team and Bulk Earthworks Team to ensure effective coordination while keeping resources distinct for each package.
  • Facilitate the seamless integration of the relocations package with other concurrent workstreams while managing the parallel delivery of works.
  • Ensure smooth coordination across DP, PMC, and CS teams, ensuring all deliverables are met.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Provide senior leadership with regular updates and manage any necessary corrective actions to keep the project on track.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and project requirements for all work packages, ensuring that all necessary permits, approvals, and documentation are in place.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with enabling works, demolition, groundworks, and utilities.
  • Act proactively in identifying potential project delays or issues and implement corrective actions to resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Oversee the effective management of resources and budget for the Relocations package, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently across the different project teams.
  • Ensure that resources are optimally allocated without conflicts across the Logistics and Bulk Earthworks Teams.
  • Monitor project spending, ensuring that the package stays within the allocated budget and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the relocations package meet the required quality standards and comply with project specifications and regulations.
  • Lead the QA/QC processes to ensure that all works are carried out to the highest standards, managing any deviations or corrective actions as necessary.
  • Lead and enforce safety protocols and environmental compliance across all activities within the Relocations package.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel, ensuring that safety standards are adhered to and any hazards are promptly mitigated.
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports to senior management, outlining key performance indicators, milestones, and risks.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is accurately maintained, including reports, permits, approvals, and change orders.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in project management, specifically in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in managing complex relocation packages, including enabling works, demolition, groundworks, and utility projects.
  • Experience managing and coordinating DP, PMC, and CS teams and ensuring all deliverables are met.
  • Experience working on projects with parallel package execution and resource coordination.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of construction methods, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and oversee parallel work packages.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing relocation packages or demolition and enabling works within large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in managing multiple teams and stakeholders in parallel project deliveries and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Strong background in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks related to demolition, groundworks, and utilities.
