We are seeking a Senior Director to lead our team. Reporting to the Vice President Northeast Regional Manager, you will use your operations skills to drive business growth and lead a talented team delivering road, highway, and bridge projects across the state. The successful candidate would take over as the face of Parsons with local clients and help pursue/win new work by proactively engaging and maintaining a visible presence with Mass DOT stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead Operations: Oversee the successful execution of transportation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Drive Business Growth: Expand Parsons’ presence, leveraging key accounts and identifying new opportunities with MassDOT, MBTA, and other local agencies.
Foster Collaboration: Build strong relationships across business lines, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment with client goals.
Mentor and Develop Talent: Guide and support a high-performing team of engineers and project managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
Achieve Operational Excellence: Manage P&L responsibilities, including meeting or exceeding sales, operating profit, margin, and DSO targets.
Be a Seller/Doer: Balance business development and project management responsibilities, actively participating in proposals, client presentations, and project delivery.
Innovate Solutions: Champion creative approaches to solving complex infrastructure challenges, ensuring Parsons remains a trusted partner in the region.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
4-year degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical/business field
20+ years of experience managing diverse infrastructure projects, including a proven track record of delivering large-scale MassDOT projects
PE license in Massachusetts
Strong leadership with experience mentoring teams and fostering collaboration
Background in roadway/highway, bridge or traffic design
Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships
