Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Business Development Engineer to join our team! This position will play a critical role in driving growth and profitability within the Commercial and Residential sectors. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, capable of identifying and developing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and contributing to the overall success of the Investment Development Division.
What You'll Be Doing:
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities in the commercial and residential sectors.
Develop and implement business strategies to align with organizational goals and drive revenue growth.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and secure new business opportunities.
Provide technical guidance and support for project proposals, feasibility studies, and client presentations.
Conduct financial analyses, including budgeting, cost estimation, and ROI assessments for proposed projects.
Work closely with engineering, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and effective project delivery.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management on business development activities, project progress, and market insights.
Lead negotiations with clients and partners to secure favorable terms and agreements.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance business development strategies.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 7 to 10 years of professional experience.
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards applicable to commercial and residential developments.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
