Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Engineer – Architect to join our team! The Project Engineer – Architect is responsible for Architect works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong technical and problem-solving skills, and have a thorough understanding of construction processes and materials. In this role you will get to work on one of the unique hospitality projects in the kingdom.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues.
• Provide technical support to design teams, ensuring compliance with structural and functional requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to design intent.
• Verify that construction meets quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all work complies with local, national, and international building codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including photographs and observations, and maintain accurate records.
• Review and approve material samples, mock-ups, and shop drawings.
• Act as a liaison between design teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Attend construction meetings and provide updates on inspection findings and project progress.
• Address client concerns and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity of designs during construction.
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Conduct final inspections and punch-list reviews to ensure project completion meets design and safety standards.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or a related field.
• Licensed Architect or Engineer certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in architectural design, construction, or inspection roles.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with inspection tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and building codes.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
