Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Interior Designer to join our team! The Lead Interior Designer for Hospitality Projects will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and delivering world-class interior design solutions for hospitality spaces, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and luxury accommodations. This role requires creative vision, leadership, and technical expertise to bring innovative design concepts to life. The ideal candidate will manage a team of designers, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure projects meet aesthetic, functional, and budgetary requirements while aligning with brand identity and guest experience goals. In this role you will get to work on one of the unique hospitality projects in the kingdom.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and oversee design concepts, mood boards, and spatial layouts for hospitality projects.

• Lead creative brainstorming sessions to establish a cohesive design direction aligned with client goals and branding.

• Stay informed of global design trends, materials, and innovations in hospitality design.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of design milestones.

• Oversee the preparation of design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and material selections.

• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.

• Lead and mentor a team of interior designers, ensuring collaboration and high-quality outcomes.

• Delegate tasks effectively and provide feedback on design work.

• Foster a culture of creativity and accountability within the team.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting design concepts and updates.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to integrate design elements seamlessly.

• Address client feedback promptly and adapt designs to meet evolving project needs.

• Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to project standards and brand guidelines.

• Oversee material and furniture selection, ensuring quality and sustainability.

• Conduct on-site visits to ensure design intent is executed accurately during construction.

• Champion sustainable design practices and integrate eco-friendly materials into hospitality projects.

• Explore innovative solutions to enhance guest experiences and maximize operational efficiency.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of hospitality projects.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools like V-Ray or Lumion.

• Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection.

• Experience working with luxury brands or high-end hospitality projects is highly desirable.

• Excellent project management, presentation, and communication skills.
