In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and direct large-scale infrastructure projects in the Eastern United States, driving innovation and excellence while shaping the future of our communities.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Program Director, you will be at the forefront of project execution, overseeing all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions. Your leadership will ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement program requirements, Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans.
Team Leadership: Assign responsibilities to key team members, leveraging their strengths and expertise to achieve project goals. Provide mentorship and input on performance reviews and development plans.
Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, negotiating scope changes, attending public meetings, and collaborating with Business Development to secure additional work.
Operational Excellence: Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, ensuring technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance processes.
Problem Solving: Devise and execute action plans to address potential cost overruns, delays, or scope changes, keeping clients and management informed.
Collaboration: Work closely with project engineers, discipline leads, and office staff to ensure seamless project execution.
What You'll Bring:
We are seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess:
Leadership Excellence: Advanced leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
Technical Expertise: Thorough knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and current technology.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication abilities to effectively engage with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
Project Management Certification: Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical/business field.
20+ years of related work experience, including significant project management or construction management assignments on large-scope projects.
Broad technical and business background, with experience in operations management of personnel and facilities.
Experience working with NCDOT and SCDOT
Licenses and Certifications:
Professional registration is required.
