Job Description:

Vaxcom Services LLC (a Parsons company) is looking for an amazingly talented Security Training Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead all training efforts for an armed guard contingent at three sensitive sites/facilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Oversee and coordinate security training programs across three 24/7 operational sites, supporting up to 100 contract security guards.

• Conduct onboarding, site familiarization, and required security training (e.g., lock combination protocols, Clean In/Clean Out, incident reporting, alarm response).

• Monitor training compliance, track completions, and prepare weekly reports for the customer.

• Analyze training needs, develop process improvements, and recommend updates to meet evolving program requirements.

• Support program management with data collection, trend analysis, and reporting to inform operational decisions.

• Serve as a liaison between the Program Manager, senior officers, and customer leadership to address issues, changes, and process enhancements.

• Maintain and update program tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SharePoint) to ensure accurate and timely information sharing.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelors degree and 5+ years of related Physical Security experience or High School diploma plus 8 years of experience in lieu of degree.

• Strong analytical skills with experience tracking, interpreting, and reporting operational or training data.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and experience with Smartsheet or similar tools.

• Proven ability to train, mentor, and guide personnel to meet performance and compliance standards.

• Demonstrated success working with customer leadership to implement changes and address operational requirements.

• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Previous armed security guard experience.
• Previous experience working in a leadership capacity.
• Previous experience in preparing technical reports related to physical security processes and procedures, including drafting and modifying SOPs.
• Previous experience working at a secure or sensitive site/facility.
• Previous experience working with scheduling, compliance related reporting, and other 24/7 related processes/documentation.
• Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Armed Security Officer license
• Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Instructor Certification.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
