Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented, detail-oriented Payroll Accounts Assistant to join our team! In this role you will get to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with company policies and UAE labor regulations.
The role requires strong analytical skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively with HR and Finance teams..
What You'll Be Doing:
Payroll process for GCC (UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman)
Maintain payroll records including salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and end-of-service benefits, stock purchase plans
Verify and reconcile payroll data with HR records and timesheets.
Ensure compliance with GCC Labour Law and company payroll policies.
Prepare payroll journals and post entries in the accounting system.
Reconcile payroll accounts with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
Pension knowledge for GCC countries.
Support internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation. SOX audit experience is essential.
Prepare payroll reports for management including payroll cost analysis and variance reports.
Handle employee payroll queries and ensure timely resolution.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3 -5 years of experience in payroll accounting, preferably in construction or engineering companies.
Knowledge of GCC payroll regulations and WPS system.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Costpoint, Workday or similar).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
