Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Logistics Director to join our team in Riyadh, KSA!. In this role you will is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing logistics strategies across all construction projects to ensure materials, equipment, personnel, and information flow seamlessly and efficiently. This leadership role ensures all logistics activities align with the project timelines, safety requirements, cost parameters, and quality expectations. The Logistics Director will work closely with project managers, procurement teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to optimize supply chain and logistics processes across multiple project sites.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop and execute logistics plans and policies for large-scale construction projects.

• Define site logistics strategies, including delivery coordination, storage, crane/lift planning, and workforce movement.

• Lead the design and implementation of logistics infrastructure on-site (e.g., traffic flow, storage zones, signage, temporary facilities).

• Manage and mentor logistics managers and coordinators across projects.

• Collaborate with construction management, procurement, safety, and operations teams.

• Conduct regular logistics meetings and reporting.

• Ensure all logistics operations adhere to local health and safety regulations and company standards.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• 3 or 4-year degree in any related field and 20+ years of related work experience, including significant managerial experience managing logistics for large-scale or complex construction projects. 

• Requires extensive knowledge of logistics best practices, processes and current technology is required.

• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site logistics planning, and supply chain management.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in logistics planning tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management software

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Must also demonstrate the ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks. 

• Must be capable of conducting focused briefings to all levels of management - this includes effective problem solving and exercising excellent judgment regarding timing and senior management involvement in significant issues. 

• Ability to network across departments and key external stakeholders.
