Junior Cost Specialist (UAE National)
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Cost Specialist (UAE National) to join our team! In this role you will get to prepare, review, and maintain cost management deliverables for large-scale construction projects. The role provides an excellent opportunity for Emirati graduates to gain hands-on experience across a multibillion portfolio of infrastructure and building projects, while developing strong foundations in cost control and project financial management.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assist in the preparation of monthly cost reports, financial summaries, and cost forecasts.
Support cost engineers in tracking project budgets, committed costs, actual expenditures, and variations.
Help maintain cost databases, cash flow forecasts, and project cost registers.
Coordinate with project controls, planning, and site teams to collect cost-related data.
Ensure cost reporting aligns with client requirements, contract terms, and industry practices.
Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and, when required, clients and contractors.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of all cost-related records.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed university.
Fresh graduate with interest in construction, consultancy, or project controls
Basic understanding of construction projects and cost management principles
Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; knowledge of cost systems or planning tools is an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across disciplines.
Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior cost professionals.
Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to meet deadlines.
