Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Interface Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to coordinate and manages communication and collaboration between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth integration and timely resolution of interface issues.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages and coordinates interfaces between internal teams, external contractors, clients, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Develops and implements interface management strategies, processes, and procedures to ensure seamless collaboration across different project disciplines.

• Facilitates communication and resolves issues related to scope, schedule, and resources between various teams involved in the infrastructure project.

• Identifies and manages potential interface risks and conflicts, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively.

• Tracks and monitors interface milestones, ensuring that all necessary inputs and outputs are delivered on time and in compliance with project specifications.

• Ensures that technical and non-technical interfaces are managed efficiently and aligns the project design with client requirements and regulatory standards.

• Coordinates the exchange of information between various teams, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned on project goals and progress.

• Leads and organizes regular interface meetings, documenting actions, decisions, and key outcomes.

• Prepares and reviews interface reports, ensuring clear documentation of interactions, milestones, and any changes in project scope or schedule.

• Performs other duties as required to ensure successful interface management across the infrastructure project.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in managing interfaces on infrastructure projects or similar large-scale projects

• Strong background in project coordination and stakeholder management

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Ability to identify, manage, and resolve interface-related risks and issues

• Knowledge of infrastructure project management processes, standards, and regulations

• Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
