Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Interface Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Interface Manager by facilitating communication, tracking issues, and ensuring smooth coordination between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists the Interface Manager in managing interfaces between internal teams, external contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Coordinates and monitors the exchange of information between teams to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

• Tracks interface-related issues, actions, and risks, ensuring they are documented and addressed promptly.

• Facilitates interface meetings and ensures all stakeholders are informed of the project’s status and any necessary actions.

• Supports the identification and resolution of interface conflicts, coordinating solutions across multiple disciplines.

• Assists in maintaining an interface management database or system, ensuring all interface-related activities are logged and tracked.

• Prepares reports and updates for the Interface Manager, summarizing the status of ongoing interface tasks and any issues requiring resolution.

• Assists in the development of interface management procedures and documentation to ensure consistency and effective communication.

• Supports project teams in understanding and implementing interface management strategies and procedures.

• Performs other duties as required to assist in the smooth coordination of project interfaces.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure projects or project coordination roles

• Familiarity with interface management tools or project management software is a plus

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Good organizational and time-management abilities

• Ability to assist in problem-solving and conflict resolution across multiple teams

• Knowledge of infrastructure project management processes and standards

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
