Environmental Engineering Intern

Qatar, Doha

Parsons offers an internship program and is seeking highly motivated students specialized in Environmental Engineering. Our interns are gaining hands-on experience, expanding their knowledge, and growing their network during their time with as us, as well as receiving access to events for their professional development and curated mentorship. What you'll be doing:

• Assist project senior engineers in conducting research and gathering baseline environmental data (e.g., ecological resources, air quality, noise levels, water quality, socio-economic data) through literature reviews, database searches, and potentially assisting with field data collection planning.

• Support the analysis and interpretation of environmental data under the guidance of senior staff.

• Assist in drafting specific sections of EIA reports, technical memos, and related documentation.

• Help prepare figures, maps, and tables for inclusion in reports and presentations.

• Assist in researching relevant local, regional, and national environmental regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to infrastructure projects.

• Support the team in identifying potential environmental impacts associated with proposed projects and researching potential mitigation measures.

• Participate in team meetings, take meeting minutes, and provide general project support as needed.

• Assist with document management, formatting, and quality control checks.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program and in pursuit of a degree in Environmental Engineering.

• Must have a strong academic record and coursework relevant to the internship position.
