Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring a Legal Intern for the GDC General Counsel’s office to assist in the review, research, and documentation of areas of the law pertaining to GDC’s operations and the delivery of the Hudson Tunnel Project.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Legal research regarding all areas of corporate and public entity law.

• Drafting of legal memorandum and documents.

• Attend meetings regarding legal and non-legal matters.

• Review documents of a legal and non-legal nature.

• Analyze documents for compliance with GDC’s policies and other applicable rules, regulations statutes and laws.

• Provide input on proposed policies and procedures.

What Skills & Qualifications You'll Bring:

• For the 2025 Summer Internship Program, candidates must be students who are enrolled in college or graduate school through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester.

• Experience with Microsoft apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Pre-law or law school students are preferred.

• Interest in contributing to the success of the New York and New Jersey region.

• Interest in public service and/or transportation.

• Willingness to learn.

Internship Details:

• The 2025 Summer Internship Program will likely start in June 2025, lasting approximately 12 weeks.

• Newark, New Jersey and New York, New York – Hybrid Schedule.

Salary Range: $18.94 - $33.17
