Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Deltek Costpoint Application Architect to join our team! In this role you will get to be responsible for the architecture, design, development, and governance of Deltek Costpoint solutions, leveraging your deep expertise in Costpoint Extensions & Integrations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Serve as the technical authority for Deltek Costpoint application architecture.
• Define extension strategy aligned with Deltek best practices and upgrade paths.
• Design scalable solutions that minimize core modifications while maximizing extensibility.
• Establish architectural standards, documentation, and governance for Costpoint solutions.
• Design and develop Costpoint Extensions using supported frameworks and APIs.
• Build and maintain:
  • Custom UI extensions
  • Business logic extensions
  • Workflow enhancements
  • Reporting and data access extensions
• Ensure extensions are upgrade-safe, performant, and secure.
• Lead code reviews, and enforce development standards
• Architect and implement integrations between Costpoint and:
  • HRIS, Payroll, CRM, ERP, Data Warehouses, and third-party systems
• Utilize REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
• Ensure data integrity, validation, and synchronization across systems.
• Evaluate, streamline, and consolidate extension and integration portfolio to reduce costs, complexity, and security risks
• Act as a technical advisor to IT leadership and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and solution architectures.
• Mentor developers and analysts on Costpoint development best practices

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint (ERP).
• Strong expertise in:
  • Costpoint Extensions framework
  • Costpoint APIs and data structures
  • SQL Server environments
• Experience with:
  • Java, C#, or similar enterprise development languages
  • Web technologies (REST, JSON, XML)
  • Middleware or integration platforms
• Strong understanding of Costpoint modules (Finance, Projects, Labor, HR, Procurement).
• Proven experience as an Application Architect or Senior Technical Lead.
• Strong background in enterprise application architecture and system integration.
• Experience designing solutions for highly regulated environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical audiences).
• Ability to lead without authority and influence architectural decisions.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
