Job Description:
What You'll Be Doing:
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their needs and objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for high-level discussions and negotiations.
- Strategic Direction: Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company's goals and the evolving needs of the Air Force. Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends and customer feedback.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Air Force sector. Lead efforts to expand the company's footprint by leveraging existing relationships and exploring new avenues for growth.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, and potential areas for expansion. Use this data to inform strategic decisions and business development strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives that meet Air Force requirements.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to the Air Force team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Encourage professional development and growth within the team.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- 20+ years of broad and diversified experience.
- Professional registration or certification in field of expertise.
- Active membership in a professional society.

- Proven ability for managing a large group of personnel within field of expertise.
- Ability to provide direction for resolving complex work assignments.
- Expert knowledge of standard practices within field of expertise, as well as applicable codes and regulations.
- Knowledge of best practices for utilizing communication technology, automation, and various software applications in order to achieve the highest level of productivity within organizational unit.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to make effective presentations to senior management.
- Extensive experience in business development and strategic planning within the defense or aerospace industry, with a focus on Air Force operations.
- Strong understanding of Air Force procurement processes and customer needs.
- Proven ability to build and maintain high-level customer relationships.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Security Clearance Requirement:
