Afin de soutenir sa forte croissance au Québec, Parsons est actuellement à la recherche active de plusieurs candidats en infrastructures de transports incluant des ingénieurs et des techniciens en génie routier et génie municipal, en maintien de la circulation et planification des transports, ainsi qu’en ouvrages d’art.

Quelques projets phares:

  • Maintien des actifs et inspection du Pont de Québec;

  • Conception de l’échangeur Turcot, dont le pont haubané du canal de Lachine;

  • Évaluations sismiques des ponts Jacques-Cartier, Clément, Honoré-Mercier, Alexandra (Ottawa) et Prince-of-Wales (Ottawa);

  • Réfection majeure du pont-tunnel Louis-H.-La Fontaine et des tunnels Ville-Marie et Viger;

  • Construction du pont international Gordie-Howe (Ontario), à titre d’ingénieur du propriétaire;

  • Déconstruction du pont Champlain.

  • Plusieurs autres projets en mode alternatif à venir en 2025 au Québec et au Canada où Parsons a agi à titre de concepteur en chef, d’ingénieur du propriétaire ou de certificateur indépendant.

Actuellement, l’équipe de Ponts et Tunnels est à la recherche d'un Technicien inspecteur - Ponts et tunnels pour se joindre à notre bureau de Québec. 

Idéalement vous avez :

  • Diplôme d’étude collégiale en génie civil ou architecture

  • Intérêt pour l’inspection en accès sur corde

  • 3+ années d'expérience professionnelle en inspection de ponts et tunnels

  • Connaissance des logiciels AutoCAD, Revit, Microstation est un atout

  • Les certifications du MTMD (inspection, entretien, construction et réparation des structures, etc.) sont un atout

    • Rôle essentiel dans la prévention des accidents et la prolongation de la durée de vie des infrastructures.

    • Impact direct sur la qualité et la sécurité des ouvrages d'art.

  • Réaliser un travail stimulant :

    • Environnement de travail dynamique, souvent à l’extérieur, dans des endroits bucoliques.

    • Défis techniques et physiques qui rendent le métier gratifiant.

La connaissance du français est requise pour les postes situés en permanence au Québec afin que le titulaire puisse communiquer au besoin avec ses collègues et partenaires au Québec. Une formation en français est offerte à tout titulaire d’un poste permanent au Québec qui ne possède pas une bonne connaissance du français.

Autre exigence linguistique

La maîtrise de l’anglais est requise pour ce poste afin de communiquer avec les collègues, les clients et les partenaires (ou les fournisseurs) situés à l’extérieur du Québec, et de comprendre la documentation technique et scientifique disponible dans le domaine de notre industrie.

  • Inspection of Québec Bridge, Quebec

  • Design of Turcot Interchange, including the cable-stayed bridge over the Lachine Canal

  • Seismic assessments of the Jacques-Cartier, Clément, Honoré-Mercier, Alexandra (Ottawa) and Prince-of-Wales (Ottawa) bridges

  • Major rehabilitation of the Louis-H.-La Fontaine bridge-tunnel and the Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels;

  • Construction of the Gordie-Howe International Bridge (Ontario), as owner's engineer;

  • Deconstruction of the Champlain Bridge

  • Several other alternative-mode projects are planned for 2025 in Quebec and Canada, where Parsons has acted as lead designer, owner's engineer or independent certifier.

Currently, the Bridge and Tunnel Team is looking for an Technician specialized in inspection - Bridges and Tunnels to join our Quebec office.

Ideally, you have :

  • College Diploma in Civil Engineering or architect diploma

  • Interest in rope access inspection

  • 3+ years of professional experience in bridge and tunnel inspection

  • Knowledge of Audtocad, Revit and Microstation are an asset

  • MTMD certifications (inspection, maintenance, construction, and repair of structures, etc.) are an asset

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and partners in Quebec as necessary. French-language training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French.

Other language requirement

Fluent English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, clients and partners (or suppliers) located outside Quebec and to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry.
