Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Technical Instructor to join our growing team!

Parsons TOG develops and delivers advanced technical training in Commercial Signature Reduction (CSR) and digital identity protection for Fortune 100 companies, elite Special Operations units, law enforcement, and Intelligence Community partners. We are hiring a CSR instructor to plan, develop, and deliver our CSR course suite, with opportunities to support adjacent work in Linux, AI-assisted research, and Python automation.

Our instruction is hands-on, scenario-based, and tool-agnostic: we teach methodology and tradecraft, not dependence on any single application. We are looking for a subject-matter expert who can both do the work and teach it to mixed audiences of soldiers, civilians, and contractors.

Location, Travel & Benefits:

Primary work location is the Fort Bragg / Fayetteville, NC area, on-site, with up to 40% travel CONUS and OCONUS. Travel may reach 40% but is not guaranteed. All training cadre receive a best-in-class PTO and leave program that offsets the travel demand.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Instruct and facilitate CSR modules to course training objectives; support adjacent technical modules as needed.
  • Conduct student evaluations, provide feedback, and deliver remedial instruction.
  • Research, develop, evaluate, and update CSR lessons, courseware, and practical exercises in coordination with the Programs of Instruction (POI) Development Manager.
  • Develop and grade practical exercises; create concepts of operation (CONOPs) and student instructional materials.
  • Adapt instruction to varying skill levels and client operational requirements.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active TS/SCI (or active TS with SCI eligibility).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial signature reduction, digital identity management, or closely related cyber/OSINT operations in support of government, military, or commercial customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop instructional materials and student assessments and to present technical content clearly to mixed audiences.
  • Working knowledge of safe-research techniques, network security fundamentals, VPN and managed-attribution concepts, and the Linux command line.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field. Ten or more years of relevant military experience, or extensive demonstrable work in the areas above, may substitute for the degree requirement.

What Desired Skills You Might Bring:

  • Linux proficiency (distribution-agnostic) — comfort across environments rather than mastery of a single distribution.
  • AI for research and development — prompt engineering, AI-assisted OSINT/PAI workflows, managed-attribution AI tooling, and/or AI-assisted software development.
  • Python scripting — OSINT/PAI automation and investigational workflows.
  • Prior experience developing or instructing technical courses.
  • Completion of a recognized signature-reduction / managed-attribution course (e.g., JOSTC-B, Advanced Technicians Course, JOSTC-A, Advanced Planners Course, or Due Diligence Course).
  • OSINT/PAI course credentials (e.g., CASO, COSMO, OS301/OS302, or DoD/IC equivalents).
  • Relevant cyber certifications (Security+, CEH, GCIH, GCFA, OSCP, or equivalent).
  • Army 17-, 18-, 25-, 35-, 37-, or 38-series background (Cyber, Special Forces, Signal, Military Intelligence, PSYOP, Civil Affairs), or comparable SOCOM, cyber, signals, or IC experience.

Skills & Technical Familiarity:

  • Signature reduction & attribution: CSR techniques, digital data protection, persona operations, managed attribution, digital force protection.
  • Linux & scripting: distribution-agnostic Linux, command line, shell scripting; Python for automation and investigational workflows.
  • AI-enabled tradecraft: AI-assisted OSINT/PAI research, prompt engineering, managed-attribution AI, AI-assisted development.
  • Networking: TCP/IP, VPNs, Tor, cellular networks, device hardening.
  • OSINT/PAI: PAI/OSINT research methodology and tradecraft; CASO and/or COSMO methodology.
  • Containers & dev environments: Docker, Snaps, Flatpaks; JupyterHub and GitLab.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.
