Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the US Army TENCAP Program! In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in RF systems, SATCOM networking, system integration, and software tools to provide technical leadership for mission-critical systems. You will play a key role in ensuring system readiness, optimizing RF performance, and driving innovation to enhance the Army's tactical and strategic capabilities. This position requires up to 50% travel to support system retrofits, testing, and integration at various domestic and international locations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RF systems, including SATCOM networking, signal processing, RF subsystems, and associated software tools.
  • Lead the integration, testing, and evaluation of RF systems, including antenna installations, system upgrades, and optimization efforts.
  • Develop and execute systems integration test procedures, ensuring total coverage traced to customer requirements.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Government Acceptance Testing (GAT), and System Integration Testing (SIT) for new antenna systems and RF subsystems.
  • Collaborate with field engineers and cross-functional teams to author and review technical documentation and assist in operation and sustainment activities for ground systems.
  • Drive requirements development and verification for RF systems, ensuring alignment with operational needs and technical specifications.
  • Utilize software tools for RF signal analysis, system modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Support architecture efforts to centralize technical libraries using MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering technical growth and development.
  • Prepare and deliver technical briefings and reports to stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers.
  • Travel up to 50% to support system retrofits, testing, and integration at various domestic and international sites.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in RF systems, SATCOM networking, signal processing, and associated software tools.
  • Expertise in RF signal analysis, testing, and troubleshooting, including experience with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF power meters, and signal generators.
  • Experience with antenna installation, system integration testing, and end-to-end RF performance optimization.
  • Proficiency with software tools for RF system modeling, signal analysis, and performance testing (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to present technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • 50% travel to support system retrofits, testing, and integration at various domestic and international locations.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with SSBI-T5O.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience with system retrofits and sustainment activities for DoD ground systems.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as RMF (Risk Management Framework).
  • Proficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
  • Experience developing or modifying software for RF systems, including signal processing algorithms.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with high-technology systems.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and schedules.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
