Are you an experienced Systems Administrator looking for an opportunity to grow your skillset? Our team is looking for a Systems Administrator to focus on the administration of a wide variety of technologies and environments in Colorado Springs, CO. The System Administrator will support multiple networks at various levels of security classification, providing the full range of support services required to manage the day-to-day operation and administration activities and end-to-end support. Requires participation in architecting, designing, and analyzing current and future infrastructure capabilities. You will have the opportunity to participate in real-world, cutting-edge Space Situational Awareness systems which are changing how the Space community is doing business. Candidate must have strong troubleshooting and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:
 • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 8 years’ experience or Associates Degree /HS Diploma with 10 or more years of experience.
• Manage system and server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support tor the escalation and communication of status to management and customers
• Ability to support and troubleshoot issues on common Operating Systems (Linux/Windows)
 • Knowledge and experience with VMware and virtualization
• Diagnose and resolve issues with server, storage, and networking devices, including replacing failed components.

 • Experience with scripting languages such as Windows Powershell and Unix Shell for troubleshooting and automation of routine tasks
 • Experience with system build processes and imaging; configuring and deploying systems in DoD environments across multiple classification levels
 • Experience maintaining multiple baseline environments and configuration management
 • Experience with access management and client account technical support (Windows Active Directory, DNS)
• Knowledge with installation and maintenance of backup and recovery solutions
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts (Firewall, Routers)
• Strong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentation
• Develop and document system administration standard operation procedures
• High level of self-motivation, ability to define, manage, and prioritize tasks in a team environment requiring minimal supervision
 • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
 • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
 • Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative, and willingness to learn new tools and concepts quickly
 • DoD 8140/8570 Certification (Security+, CISSP, CCNA, etc.) Information Assurance Technical II certification
 • Active Top Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility.
 • Willingness to submit to Counterintelligence polygraph to achieve SAP security clearance within 3 months of hire

Desired Skills:


·Use enterprise automation tools (such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc.) to deploy and maintain complex environments
·Experience with configuration management and software build processes
·Experience with cybersecurity tools e.g. ACAS, SIEM, HBSS/ESS
·Familiar with interpretation and application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
·Knowledge and experience of Cloud Computing, Docker Containers, Amazon Web Services
·Experience with installation and maintenance of databases and application servers
·Experience with full DevOps toolchain (JIRA, Gitlab, Jenkins, Fortify, Artifactory, Docker)

Physical Demands and Working Conditions: 

Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to configure and operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use. Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 30 pounds across facility.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00
