Parsons is now hiring a co-op student with experience and desire to work on rail/transit, traffic, and municipal projects that change the fabric of our community. Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your engineering knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance. In this role you can expect to complete a wide variety of complex engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline. You will apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses which may involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications and traffic microsimulation software.

Still interested? You’ll have:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate Civil Engineering program
- Experience utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is preferred
- Exposure working on any or all, of traffic, road, highway, rail, transit, and water related infrastructure projects as well as project planning and engineering coordination skill set preferred
- Experience in traffic microsimulation software (VISSIM, Synchro, etc.) would be a strength
- Project controls experience strongly desired and construction management would be a suitable asset
- Design software knowledge (AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Microstation)
