Job Description:

Strategy and Performance Expert

Doha, Qatar

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Development, execution and monitoring of the comapny's/projects annual Business and operational plans
• Identify key opportunities and strategic issues impacting the projects short and long term goals
• Evaluate opportunities for the project including the development of business cases which may include market research and analysis, cost-benefit analysis and financial modelling
• Keep abreast of transportation and mobility developments worldwide and identify future trends that may impact the companys corporate strategy.
• Identify opportunities to institutionalize and improve the strategic planning process throughout the organization
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic corporate initiatives.
• Preparation of Senior Management presentations.
• Establish and maintain an accurate and consistent performance reporting framework and monitor organizational performance against approved targets.
• Evaluate the execution of Business Plans, KPIs, initiatives, and milestones against agreed targets.
• Conduct performance reviews and root-cause analyses with relevant departments and oversee the implementation of corrective actions and improvement initiatives to drive corporate performance improvement.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad hoc performance reports for the companys leadership.
• Run ad hoc analysis, summarise findings and prepare output presentations when required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 2 years' experience in management consulting, or
• 5 years in a strategy/corporate planning function in a leading organisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prepare high quality, Senior Management level presentations.
• Excellent oral and verbal communication skills in English.

• Preferred experience in Transport and/or Rail sector, or in the local Qatari market.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Pioneering spirit and personal initiative.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team player mentality and flexibility.
• Extremely excellent self-organization, high level of motivation and ability to work under pressure.
• Able to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Working with attention to detail.
• Strong decision-making ability.
