Job Description:

Ready to advance your education and work on large-scale engineering projects? Parsons is seeking Engineering Interns who are versatile, flexible, able to work in team-oriented environments, and have exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

The Parsons Universal Modeling & Analysis (PUMA) Lab is looking for a Software/System Engineering intern for the Summer 2025 cohort. The intern will work in an agile environment with the PUMA team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop new capabilities through software development efforts for the Parsons Digital Engineering Framework (PDEF)
• Integrate multiple applications through the development of software wrappers/adapter
• Work with the ParsonsGPT application to continue its development for PDEF’s AI/ML objectives (i.e., trend analysis, simulation training, cost/benefit analysis)
• Work in a cloud and on-premises environment depending on the project effort
• Work in an agile team environment

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field
• Project experience in software development (specifically application integration)
• Experience in working with AI/ML technologies, platforms, and or projects
• Experience with data mining, machine learning, and other AI applications
• Cloud Environment Project Experience
• Knowledge of Digital Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Technology-related Certifications are a Plus!
• Experience with MATLAB, Model Center, Cameo Systems Modeler, and other modeling & simulation tools are a Plus!

$21.44 - $37.55
