Our Unconventional Access directorate is passionate about building the best embedded hardware and software solutions in support of unconventional access missions.  Parsons creates game changing space solutions by teaming highly respected subject matter experts with brilliant technologists. Are you pursuing a computer science or related degree and looking for an internship? Our team is looking for aspiring software engineers with completed computer programming coursework in languages such as C/C++ and Python.

Desired focused skills include embedded software development using C/C++, software reverse engineering with tools like Ghida, IDAPro, or Windbg, and/or vulnerability research. Android internals, network device internals, or firmware experience are a huge plus. An active TS SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

This position is located onsite in Colombia, MD. Remote work is not available.  

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a degree in computer science or related field (e.g., Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Sciences),
• Completed at least two years of an undergraduate curriculum and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience developing software applications
• Must be comfortable taking the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in spoken English
• Must be a US Citizen
• The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement. Candidates are expected to possess a positive team-first attitude, a willingness to learn, and strong initiative

Desired Skills

• Experience with Python and C/C++ programming languages
• Experience with agile software development techniques
• Experience with IDE tools such as VS Code
• Knowledge of CM tools such as Git

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $21.88 - $38.27
