Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Sustainability Manager to join our team! In this role you will be performing a full-time sustainability assessment and supervision role during design and construction phases of the relevant rating systems. . This role requires a deep understanding of sustainable design principles, green building certifications, and the ability to effectively collaborate with and manage elite international design consultants. The ideal candidate will act as a key sustainability leader within the design and development process, aligning environmental goals with architectural excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and drive the execution of the company’s sustainability strategy within architectural and urban development projects.

• Ensure sustainability goals are embedded from early concept through to construction and operation phases.

• Translate global sustainability trends into project-specific guidelines and design briefs.

• Collaborate closely with internal architectural, design, and development teams to integrate sustainable design strategies.

• Lead certification processes such as LEED, WELL, BREEAM, Estidama, or local green building codes.

• Oversee sustainability performance tracking, reporting, and documentation throughout design and construction.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and codes.

• Prepare ESG and sustainability disclosures for internal and external stakeholders.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve sustainability and design excellence.

• Engage with executive leadership, investors, and regulators to communicate sustainability vision and results.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.

• Work experience of minimum 15 years in an international engineering design and project management or sustainability consultancy.

• Estidama PCRS PQP and/or LEED AP and/or BREEAM AP ((additional credentials a plus).

• Knowledge on the latest trends on the sustainability field and finding ways to implement them synergistically.

• Analytical skills for assessing suitable sub-consultants.

• Detail oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team, on multiple large-scale projects in parallel.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Master’s degree in architecture, engineering, planning, or related natural sciences field.

• Documented participation in the preparation of a third-party sustainability certification application (e.g., LEED, Envision, Estidama), including at least two (2) completed, certified projects.

• Experience in coordinating with diverse individuals and teams including client, consultant, contractor, design, and construction members to enable achievement of project sustainability objectives and targets.

• Bring a clear understanding of global good sustainability consultancy practices and delivery of projects that include bespoke sustainability advice.
