Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Engineer (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role, you will get to integrate and coordinate engineering, scope, schedule, procurement, and construction activities to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will act as the primary technical interface between the design team, the client, and the construction contractors.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Technical Coordination: Manage and lead the coordination of multidisciplinary engineering designs (Civil, MEP, Structural) to ensure alignment with project objectives and client requirements.

  • Project Controls: Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with time, cost, HSE, and quality assurance objectives.

  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key point of contact for clients, sub-consultants, and internal departments to resolve technical issues and manage expectations.

  • Scope & Change Management: Oversee constructability reviews and manage changes through defined change management processes, identifying potential impacts on schedule or budget early.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet Parsons' high standards, technical specifications, and local Saudi regulatory requirements (MoMRA, SBC, etc.).

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and specialized assistance to junior engineers, fostering a high-performance culture within the project team.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Nationality: Must be a Saudi National (Mandatory).

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 to 10 years of related engineering experience, specifically in project coordination or site management for large-scale infrastructure or building projects.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of project execution and multidisciplinary integration. Familiarity with project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and CAD/BIM environments.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex project scopes and lead small technical teams.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

  • Professional registration (SCE - Saudi Council of Engineers) as a Professional Engineer.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.

  • Experience working on major Giga-projects (NEOM, Red Sea, Qiddiya) or with major entities like the Royal Commission.
