Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Operation and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team! In this role you will act as an expert in the field of operation and maintenance on Automatic Metro System for the Metro project. You will be responsible of the operability and maintainability follow-up of the Transportation system (sub-systems, equipment) provided by the Contractor, and to ensure the compliance with the contract’s requirements during all the projects phases. To target for the project the highest international standard of railway systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
Establishing documentation review’s reports in a timely manner in line with the project’s schedule and the quality policy of the project
Reporting during relevant design progress meeting notably related to compliance and deviation in the contract
Showing privacy in the way to communicate with the different stakeholders
Setting-up workshop and meetings with the contractors to highlight the gaps, to help in finding and challenge the solutions, and to ensure the timing and schedule of submissions
Report to the Package manager, system manager and design manager on the pending issues, and possible non compliance
Issue weekly progress report
Participate to various FAT and tests on site and abroad
Act as an Operation and Maintenance expert, whenever requested, on behalf of the Engineer to the Employer
Act as an Operation and Maintenance expert within the Engineer, advising about the Operability and Maintainability of sub-systems (E&M, Signaling, Track, Civil work, Rolling stock, Communication, External stake holders…).
Implementing required reporting in order to produce relevant project information
Reporting during relevant design progress meeting on compliance and deviation in the contract
Report to the Package manager, system manager and design manager on the pending issue, and possible non compliance
Provide constraint to sub-systems
Communicates to whom it may concern, inputs in a clear and controlled manner
Manage design change
Ensure changes are communicated and adequately taken into account by the Contractor
Ensure consistency of the design produced by the subsystem
Verify compliance of the subsystem with allocated requirements
Check traceability evidences between requirement definition and design compliance
Define appropriate actions
Prepare technical requests and follow-up..
Translate operating requirement into specific criteria to be managed by sub-systems
Manage train operation during construction activities,
Participate to FAT and OST
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Degree/Diploma in relevant field.

At least 15 years of experience in the field of Operation And Maintenance of Metro System
Having participated of at least 3 different projects of Automatic Metro lines, in at least 3 different countries
Having at least a proven record of 5 years of experience on field in OCC operation and on line metro operation

Review and Comment of the training preparedness (overall training plan, modules, courses..) delivered by the Design & Built (D&B) Contractor
Review and Comment the full set of rules and procedures (normal and degraded mode) delivered by the D&B Contractor
Review and Comment the full set of Operation and Maintenance manuals delivered by the D&B Contractor
Management of operating staff and project during the Test & Commissioning phase, System demonstration and Trial Runs (Partial & Final).
During the Defect Liability period, he will assess and control the quality of Service delivered by Operation & Maintenance Entity.
