Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Mission Assurance Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support MDA’s Director for Engineering (DE) and the Director for Systems Engineering Assurance.  This position supports Engineering Technical Reviews, Failure Review Boards, engineering integration and design activities, and MDA’s Mission Assurance Provisions.  The position also supports the Agency and DE in technical assessments and supports the warfighter in requests for system and program analysis.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform systems engineering, quality, safety, reliability, lethality, and mission assurance assessments across MDS programs and technical disciplines.

• Enable MDA Programs in preparation of Mission Assurance Provisions Requirements Applicability Matrices (MAP RAMs).

• Support review of Technical Review Plans for the conduct of Engineering Technical Reviews (SRR, PDRs, CDRs and Agile reviews).

• Provide support during the conduct of Engineering Technical Reviews.

• Supports environment assessments regarding hostile, natural space, and flight environments and process assessments to ensure DE equities are met.  

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Master’s degree in a STEM field with at least 12 years of experience

• Active secret clearance

• Strong understanding of engineering design principles

• Experience with engineering design assurance, mission assurance, quality assurance, and/or safety

• Experience in reliability, maintainability, and availability as well as failure investigations

• Experience in System-level requirements which influence Element-level designs.

• Exceptional communications and organization skills

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Knowledge of agile engineering design processes

• Knowledge of and experience with the Missile Defense System (elements, products, increments and capabilities)

• Knowledge of the MDA Mission Assurance Provisions

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
