This role focuses on day-to-day account management, opportunity qualification, and support to capture and proposal activities for Army, INSCOM, Geographic Combatant Commands (GCC), Intelligence Community (IC), and allied/partner-nation customers. The ideal candidate brings deep mission understanding, exceptional relationship skills, and an aptitude for translating operational requirements into actionable business opportunities. The role is particularly aligned to intelligence, cyber/electronic warfare, integrated air and missile defense, and allied interoperability initiatives.

This candidate will enjoy a hybrid work arrangement in Herndon or Chantilly Virginia.

Responsibilities: Senior Director, Army Intelligence & INSCOM Account will be accountable for:

  • Account Management & Customer Engagement:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts (e.g., Army, INSCOM, GCC, theater-level J2/J5 staffs, NATO organizations, and related IC elements).

    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with government stakeholders, operational end users, and key influencers across the intelligence and defense enterprise.

    • Conduct regular customer engagements to understand mission priorities, operational challenges, and emerging requirements across intelligence, cyber/electronic warfare, and integrated air and missile defense.

    • Represent Parsons in customer forums, working groups, and industry engagements relevant to assigned accounts.

    • Support Parsons’ engagement across the European theater by leveraging relationships with EUCOM, NATO leadership, and Baltic state defense organizations involved in modernization and deterrence initiatives.

  • Opportunity Identification & Qualification:

    • Provide an understanding of market analysis and account growth strategies by developing multi-year account plans, conducting competitive analysis, and identifying emerging market trends.

    • Monitor customer plans, budgets, and acquisition forecasts across Army, INSCOM, EUCOM, and NATO modernization initiatives to identify new and follow-on opportunities.

    • Identify opportunities aligned with key mission areas such as intelligence modernization, cyber and electronic warfare integration, and regional air and missile defense architectures.

    • Support early-stage shaping activities by gathering customer feedback, documenting operational requirements, and informing solution approaches that align with mission priorities.

  • Capture & Solution Development:

    • Support Capture Managers on key pursuits by providing account intelligence, customer insights, and competitive context.

    • Assist in developing call plans, meeting objectives, and engagement strategies with senior defense and intelligence stakeholders.

    • Contribute to proposal development by drafting sections (e.g., past performance, management approaches, resumes) and coordinating inputs from internal stakeholders.

    • Participate in internal reviews and help respond to questions from customers during the evaluation process.

    • Support solution alignment between operational customer requirements and Parsons capabilities across intelligence, cyber, electronic warfare, and advanced sensing.

  • Strategic Partnerships & Enterprise Growth:

    • Identify and cultivate partnerships with technology innovators, system integrators, commercial leaders, and mission-focused R&D organizations to expand Parsons’ capabilities and reach.

    • Support Parsons’ positioning in emerging mission areas including NATO Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Baltic regional defense modernization, intelligence-cyber convergence, and degraded or denied environment operations.

    • Work closely with delivery/program managers to ensure high customer satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities on existing contracts.

    • Collaborate with functional leads (solutions, pricing, contracts, legal) to ensure alignment on opportunity strategy and risk.

    • Maintain accurate, timely records of customer engagements, pipeline status, forecasts, and internal reporting tools.

    • Provide regular account updates, briefings, and recommendations to senior BD and operations leadership.

Key Relationships:

  • Reports to: VP, Account Executive, Defense & Intelligence

  • Internal: Collaborate with enterprise BD/capture teams, business unit leaders, and strategy teams

  • External: Army senior leadership, INSCOM major subordinate commands, Geographic Combatant Commands (particularly EUCOM), NATO organizations, Baltic state defense ministries, Intelligence Community partners, and industry teaming partners.

Desired Outcomes:

  • Development and expansion of a qualified opportunity pipeline within Army intelligence, INSCOM, and European theater mission areas, including NATO and allied modernization initiatives.

  • Identification and early shaping of new opportunities aligned to mission priorities such as intelligence modernization, cyber and electronic warfare integration, integrated air and missile defense (IAMD/ABAD), and operations in degraded or denied environments.

  • Establishment of trusted relationships with key government stakeholders, operational leaders, and acquisition influencers across Army, INSCOM, EUCOM, and NATO organizations.

  • Advancement of qualified opportunities through the business development lifecycle in coordination with capture and proposal teams, contributing to competitive and successful pursuits.

  • Increased visibility and positioning of Parsons capabilities within priority mission areas as a trusted partner to the Army intelligence enterprise and allied defense organizations.

  • Effective collaboration across business development, capture, and program delivery teams to align customer requirements with Parsons’ technical capabilities and strategic growth priorities.

Candidate Profile (Required Qualifications):
