Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Design Manager to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Defining and communicating a clear design vision, standards, and guidelines across projects and platforms.

• Owning the end-to-end design process from discovery and research through concept development, detailed design, and delivery.

• Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.

• Providing hands-on creative direction and thoughtful feedback on design work to ensure quality, consistency, and usability.

• Establishing, evolving, and maintaining design systems and component libraries to create scalable and cohesive experiences.

• Championing user-centered design, accessibility, and inclusive practices across all touchpoints.

• Using data, research, and experimentation to inform and iterate on design decisions.

• Presenting design concepts, rationale, and outcomes to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

• Contributing to resource planning, project prioritization, and design team operations to ensure timely and effective delivery.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Min 10 years of experience

• Proven track record managing or leading design teams on complex, multi-stakeholder projects or products.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work and measurable impact on user experience and business outcomes.

• Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
