Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an exceptional Senior Design Manager to join our team in Riyadh! In this pivotal role, you will lead the design management process across high-profile residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. You will be responsible for ensuring design excellence, alignment with client and regulatory expectations, and successful coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage the design development process across multiple, concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and client vision.

• Direct internal and external design teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality design solutions.

• Resolve design and coordination issues, working collaboratively with stakeholders and technical teams.

• Ensure that all designs meet applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards.

• Collaborate closely with project management, construction, and engineering teams to drive integration across disciplines.

• Guide design reviews at all project stages, providing strategic input and technical guidance.

• Contribute to innovation and design excellence, supporting the firm’s commitment to sustainability, creativity, and client satisfaction.

• Foster relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to maintain high levels of engagement and trust.

• Mentor and develop design staff, nurturing technical capabilities and professional growth within the team.

• Remain informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices in architecture and design.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related design discipline.

• 18 years of experience in design management, architecture, or engineering, including significant leadership in large-scale developments.

• Demonstrated experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

• Deep understanding of architectural design, construction methodologies, and technical coordination.

• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, RIBA, etc.) preferred.

• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities under pressure.

• Proven ability to translate business goals into functional design solutions.

• Experience with sustainable design practices and green building certifications.

• Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to influence and lead stakeholders.

• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards governing the built environment.
