  • Review and evaluate contractor and consultant payment applications and commercial submissions.

  • Identify commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect project objectives.

  • Support value engineering initiatives and cost optimization strategies throughout design and construction phases.

  • Coordinate procurement activities for major construction packages, specialist venue systems, FF&E, and operational readiness requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement governance procedures, commercial policies, and contractual obligations.

  • Prepare executive commercial reports, procurement dashboards, and management presentations.

  • Support project closeout activities, final account negotiations, and contract settlements.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.

  • Master's Degree preferred.

  • MRICS, MCIOB, CCP, PMP, or equivalent professional accreditation preferred.

  • Minimum 15 years of commercial, contracts, procurement, or quantity surveying experience.

  • Minimum 7 years in a senior commercial or procurement management role.

  • Demonstrated experience on major building, infrastructure, sports, aviation, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.

  • Proven experience managing procurement strategies and contract administration on large-scale projects.

  • Strong understanding of contract forms, procurement methodologies, commercial governance, and project controls.

  • Experience managing Cost Consultant interfaces and reviewing cost plans, estimates, budgets, and final accounts.

  • Extensive experience managing variations, claims, extensions of time, and dispute avoidance processes.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement and commercial management for specialist systems and technology-driven facilities.
