Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior CAD Technician / Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will develop and manage CAD drawings for master planning, architecture, and infrastructure elements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Interpret and analyze master plans including land use, zoning, DCRs, and GFA requirements.

• Prepare and manage CAD drawings for master plans, site plans, affection plans, utility layouts, and execution drawings.

• Translate conceptual sketches and instructions from planners into accurate CAD-based master plans.

• Develop and modify layouts including plots, ROW networks, road hierarchies, and infrastructure corridors.

• Perform plot subdivision, consolidation, boundary adjustments, and land use refinements.

• Ensure alignment of land use, GFA targets, and spatial configurations within master plans.

• Check drawing accuracy, layering, block usage, file formats, and coordinate integrity prior to submission.

• Ensure compliance with AD Ports CAD standards, naming conventions, and document control requirements.

• Coordinate with planners, engineers, and consultants to resolve drafting discrepancies.

• Maintain CAD archives, version control, and support authority submissions and technical documentation.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or CAD Technology.

• Minimum of 10 years of CAD drafting and technical documentation experience.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software.

• Strong knowledge of GIS platforms and coordinate systems.

• Expertise in CAD production, QA/QC, layering, and standards compliance.

• Experience managing large-scale master plan and infrastructure drawing datasets.

• Ability to produce rapid layouts, diagrams, and technical illustrations.

• Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams and consultants.

• Experience in drawing cleanup, standardization, and version control.

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken).

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for presentation and visual support.
