Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Architect with strong healthcare experience to join our team. In this role, you will lead all phases of architectural work for healthcare projects, from initial planning and concept development through to construction support, ensuring compliance with local regulations, international standards, budgets, and timelines.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and oversee the architectural design process for healthcare and hospital projects from concept through construction.

• Communicate regularly with project managers, internal teams, and clients to provide updates and resolve technical issues.

• Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate staff.

• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and design concepts.

• Use the Terms of Reference (TOR) to identify client needs and prepare feasibility reports and design proposals.

• Control projects from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design solutions.

• Review, check, and approve architectural drawings and specifications.

• Ensure design documents comply with project requirements, specifications, and applicable local and international building codes, guidelines, and regulations.

• Finalize designs within approved budgets and timelines.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (other related qualifications are not accepted).

• Minimum of 15 years of professional architectural experience, including at least 7 years in healthcare and hospital projects at a senior architect level.

• Mandatory GCC experience.

• Strong knowledge of Qatar local building codes, including Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and Qatar Civil Defense (QCDD) regulations.

• Expert knowledge of construction details, quality standards, and relevant rules and regulations.

• Proficiency in architectural design principles and practices.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative, team-focused approach.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.

• Grade A MMUP registration.

• QCDD registration.
