Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Security Manager to join our team to oversee all security operations for a major infrastructure development engagement based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and information, while maintaining compliance with local and international regulations.
What You'll be Doing:
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security policies, protocols, and procedures including access of material, people and specific purpose vehicles at site.
Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with local law enforcement and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all security-related laws and regulations.
Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
Manage and lead a team of security personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
Develop and conduct security training programs for employees and contractors.
Prepare and present regular security reports to senior management.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies, conducting investigations and implementing corrective measures.
Ensure the protection of sensitive information and intellectual property.
Collaborate with the project director and project managers and other stakeholders to integrate security measures into project plans and operations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BSc. or MSc. Degree. Master’s degree is preferred.
At least 10 years' experience in implementing complex construction site environments.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and emergency response planning.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in security systems and technology.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) are highly desirable.
