Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Reporting Specialist to join our team!

The Reporting Specialist will play a key role in supporting project governance and performance monitoring for a major airport airfield development project. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate reporting inputs from multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful reporting that supports effective project delivery and informed decision-making across the airport program.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collect weekly and monthly reports from contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

  • Consolidate project information into standardized reporting formats.

  • Review submitted reports for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

  • Follow up with stakeholders to obtain missing information and clarify discrepancies.

  • Maintain reporting schedules and ensure timely submission of all project reports.

  • Prepare project dashboards, performance reports, and management presentations.

  • Track and report key project metrics including progress, schedule status, budget performance, risks, issues, and milestones.

  • Monitor project KPIs and highlight trends requiring management attention.

  • Support development and continuous improvement of reporting tools and templates.

  • Coordinate with planning and project controls teams to obtain schedule updates.

  • Analyze project progress against approved baselines and milestones.

  • Support preparation of weekly, monthly, and executive progress reports.

  • Track critical activities, delays, and recovery actions.

  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and client representatives.

  • Coordinate reporting requirements across multiple workstreams and disciplines.

  • Ensure alignment of reporting outputs with project governance requirements.

  • Support reporting requirements for management meetings, workshops, and stakeholder reviews.

  • Validate data received from project stakeholders prior to reporting.

  • Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and reporting risks.

  • Perform trend analysis and prepare summary findings for management review.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms.

  • Maintain organized records of reports, submissions, presentations, and project documentation.

  • Manage document version control and reporting archives.

  • Support preparation of project closeout reports and lessons learned documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with project reporting procedures and document management standards.

  • Assist in preparation of executive reports, briefing notes, and management summaries.

  • Support preparation of ad hoc reports requested by project leadership.

  • Prepare graphical representations of project performance data, including charts and dashboards.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and reporting automation.

  • Support collection and reporting of HSE performance metrics.

  • Track safety observations, incidents, and compliance indicators.

  • Assist with reporting of quality, environmental, and operational performance data.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project reporting, project controls, PMO, or project coordination.

  • Experience supporting infrastructure, construction, aviation, or large-scale development projects is preferred.

  • Experience coordinating information from multiple stakeholders and project teams.

  • Familiarity with project reporting and performance monitoring processes.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Primavera P6, or equivalent is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical and data management skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational and stakeholder coordination capabilities.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

  • Experience working within PMO or project controls environments.

  • Experience on airport, transportation, or major infrastructure projects.

  • Familiarity with project scheduling and earned value reporting concepts.

  • Knowledge of reporting governance and project management best practices.

  • Experience using digital reporting platforms and dashboard solutions.

  • Ability to prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
