Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Radar Hardware and Sustainment Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to utilize strong critical thinking and problem solving skills and be capable of interfacing verbally and in writing with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Prime Contractor.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide technical support for the System and Lead engineers for sustaining engineering, hardware / software integration, design reviews, and management of in-port maintenance periods/ shipyard availability periods/ depot-level overhauls.
Support PM and lead engineer with technical and programmatic input during senior leadership engagements
Support to all XBR Operations and Sustainment activities being performed under the CLS contract.
Provide technical support for design requirements and selection of next generation hardware (DREX, AWFG, Servers, Radome, etc…)
Provide technical support for system modernization, repair, installation, maintenance, and operations with emphasis on C4ISR, radar, shipboard weapon systems, and SATCOM
Provide technical input for all programmatic / budget planning regarding new system designs/modernization or new operational processes
Provided technical and sustainment advice for outages to support root cause identification and outage resolution. Develop daily status updates and technical briefings to maintain leadership’s situational awareness of current status
Provide technical support for contract proposals, technical assessment of contractor Bases of Estimate (BOE) and technical input to Contractor Performance Assessment Reports
Conduct technical analysis and develop short notice executive level technical briefings as issues arise
Coordinate with Navy and Prime Contractor to technically assess hardware design upgrades and proposed modifications identify key technical issue solutions
Assess all proposed hardware modifications for sustainment and operational impacts
Provide technical support, in coordination with the Military Sealift Command (MSC) for configuration management, and resolution of Hardware / Software issues
Provide technical and operational support for detailed Maintenance Period/ depot-level overhaul planning, coordination and execution
Provide technical support to operations, network administration, cyber security, facility security, access control, satellite communications, data links, configuration management, and logistics.
Provide operational expertise to support critical mission operations, replenishment at sea, transit planning, maintenance schedules, developmental testing, and system certifying events for the Missile Defense System
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active Secret Clearance or higher required
MA/MS degree and 12+ years experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project OR a BA/BS degree and 20+ years of experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project
Knowledge and application of phased array radar theory, function, design and sustainment.

Experience with Program Management and sustainment processes
Experience implementing systems engineering "V" processes
Familiarity with program protection and Anti-Tamper initiatives
Experience with software development, testing, and fielding initiatives
Ability to self-manage and initiate within team structure
Ability to decompose complex problems to actionable elements
Ability to work across organizational boundaries
Ability to present complex information and concepts to Leaders at various levels
Proficient with Microsoft Office® applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of MDA Systems Engineering processes and procedures
Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure
Working knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) architecture and concepts
