Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality in transportation projects by developing and implementing QA processes, conducting tests, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support compliance and project success. 

What You'll Be Doing: 

• Develop and execute quality assurance plans, testing methodologies, and procedures for transportation systems, infrastructure, and field implementations, with guidance provided on complex matters as required. 

• Conduct audits, inspections, and tests on project deliverables, including ITS components, traffic management systems, and construction elements, to verify compliance with standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. 

• Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to quality issues and process improvements. 

• Prepare QA reports, documentation, and contract compliance records for review, ensuring accurate tracking of non-conformances, corrective actions, and resolutions. 

• May assign, track, and review tasks of technicians or quality team members; apply technical discretion to revisions of work products. 

• Potential to serve as the Engineer-of-Record on assigned QA tasks. 

• Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned QA tasks, including field testing and documentation. 

• Communicate effectively with team members, internal design groups, and external entities including clients, subconsultants, and relevant government agencies. 

• Effectively present QA findings and recommendations as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties. 

What Required Skills You'll Bring: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. 

• Professional Engineer (PE) or relevant quality certification (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer). 

• Minimum 10+ years of QA experience, with expertise in testing methodologies and documentation for transportation or infrastructure projects. 

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required.
