Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Coordinator to join our team! In this role the Project Coordinator will maintain and monitor project coordination, plans, schedules, working hours, organize meetings, and provide administrative assistance and office support to ensure effective operation for the project.
What You'll Be Doing:
Coordinate with the management team in daily projects tasks.
Assist in day-to-day project management activities, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
Manage and control all project-related communications to ensure transparency, accuracy, and timely information flow across stakeholders.
Coordinate and oversee all project deliverables, ensuring timely submission and adherence to contractual and technical requirements.
Implement and monitor project quality management processes to ensure deliverables meet required standards and specifications.
Prepare and maintain regular project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and budget tracking.
Develop reports and dashboard, coordinate with project control for financial reporting, develop minutes of meetings.
Support stakeholder engagement efforts, ensuring that expectations are managed and communication is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide direction and support to project team members, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Maintains an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client, project, and supplier requirements.
Participate in project coordination between disciplines, shares project updates, organize team meetings, put together documents from various departments.
Assist in procurement by creating RFQ, making tender analysis, and coordinate with procurement department from tender to award, coordinate with subcontractor on behalf of APM,
Develop schedule update.
Write draft letters for PM review, attend meetings with PM and clients.
Support PM in writing claims.
Develop establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required and under the direction of the APM and PM.
Support proposal effort, coordinate with all discipline to develop technical proposals and level of effort under the supervision and direction of APM and PM.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
1 to 5 years experience in design delivery or construction of roads and infrastructure projects.
Excellent written and oral communications
Excellent computer literacy
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other engineering-related software tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices applicable to infrastructure planning and execution.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Knowledge of sustainability and environmental impact requirements in infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with digital tools like BIM (Building Information Modeling).
