Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Pipefitter to join our team! In this role you will get to Plan, layout, prepare, install and test various types of piping systems in support of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP) activities.

***Must have ability to relocate and work on long-term assignment at Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Layout, prepare and install water, and gas piping throughout the project and inside individual residences according to design and specifications documentation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and identify and plan most advantageous routing/elevations of piping to avoid conflicts with adjacent systems.
• Prepare piping joints and connections per applicable standards and test such connections prior to placing system in operation.
• Assists utility systems and other trades in the installation of underground and above ground piping and supports.
• Provide junior level laborer guidance and supervision during installation activities.
• Complies with all contract requirements and local guidelines.
• Assists others trades and disciplines as needed to ensure project goals and objectives are met in a safe and expeditiously manner.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in pipefitting work
• High School or equivalent
• International work experience in remote isolated locale
• Ability to effectively work with others and assist other trades and staff as necessary to accomplish the job.
• Layout planning skills to ensure proper slope and pitch of fabricated/assembled piping is installed.
