Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Network Engineer to join our technical team! In this role you will get to work on cutting-edge projects for the U.S. Cyber Command.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Development of innovative solutions, principles and ideas based upon your own requirements gathering with customers.

• Designs, implements, and maintains network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access control lists.

• Monitors and measures activity and performance of a network.

• Collects, interprets, and reports network data and individual customer performance data.

• Meet with customers and break down requirements in order to develop time and cost efficient solutions. 

• Collaborates effectively with systems engineering, administration and cross-functional teams.

• Stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network communications engineering.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly

• Active CCNP (or higher) certification

• Minimum 7 years of network design experience, requirements gathering and solutioning

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with GD GEM One, Type-1 crypto implementation

• MPLS and pseudowire

• Strong experience with Cisco routers, switch, WAN, ISE, Cisco Adaptive Security Manager, and configuration and management of firewalls and access control lists (ACL). 

• Knowledge of following protocols and technologies:

  EIGRP/OSPF/BGP, VPN/VTI/GRE, VRF/VPC

• Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
