What You'll Be Doing:

• Knowledge and experience in the fundamentals and principles of artificial intelligence, information systems, networking, distributed processing, real time controls, system of systems, web, cloud, modeling, simulation, or some combination thereof;
• Knowledge or computer hardware, systems software, computer system architecture and integration; mathematics, including data structure, algorithms, discrete models, and modern algebra.  Which pertains primarily to the research, design, development, testing, evaluation, and maintenance of software applications in an integrated manner.
• Research, develop, and integrate innovative models and integrate those into the overall M&S program to model and emulate radar capabilities
• Determine and advise on any required hardware or software solutions to accomplish M&S goals
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders from other agencies to exchange technical information and gather program integration expertise
• Maintain documentation for individual programs or models developed and integrated as well as the full system

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Degrees in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required
  • Bachelors and 2+ years experience or 10+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Masters and 5+ years experience or 11+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Masters and 8+ years experience or 18+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Must have a current/active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance if one becomes required in the future.
• Capability to analyze and decompose technical problems
• Experience developing system and sub-system level models

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Familiarity with common programming/scripting languages, practices, and operating systems to include but not be limited to C++, MATLAB, and Python
• Ability to learn other coding languages as needed
• Clearly communicates complex ideas and produces/presents clear, well-organized presentations in relevant terms for audiences at all levels

Salary Range: 

$70,500.00 - $123,400.00
