Are you ready for a challenge that will meld military operations with the field of big data analytics? Do you have experience in a G-3, complimentary directorate, or senior operational position with knowledge of data analytics or AI/ML? Imagine yourself working on top-level, critical mission sets alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a Mission Operations Liaison with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Liaise between CCMD directorates, primarily Operations, on behalf of the Chief Data Office (CDO).
- Apply familiarity of data analytics, AI/ML, and related topics to military operational activity.
- Work with operational counterparts to conduct mission decomposition; identify critical and strategic requirements that can be solved through data analytics.
- Remain highly responsive to requirements from operation personnel, dependent on command prioritization.
- Collect requirements and contribute to the development of new data analytics and visualization methodologies.
- Collaborate with the Development team and monitor version updates to data applications; understand ongoings so that information conveyed to users reflects the latest and most relevant developments.
- Identify potential new users, provide or enable training, support, and familiarization opportunities to users of CDO’s data applications.
- Collaborate with innovation communities on related opportunities to track theater development for the application of data-driven solutions and areas for collaborative initiatives.
Required Education/Experience:
- 5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data integration.
- Experience in applying data-driven solutions
- Experience supporting an INDOPACOM data office and/or operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Technical experience with user acceptance testing (UAT)
Security Clearance Requirement:
