Job Description:

Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Specialist to join our team!

In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).  KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary residences in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.

Independently performs various conventional and moderately complex fit-outs for hotel architectural assignments by applying architectural design standards, practices, and techniques. The incumbent at this level regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in developing original designs that align with standard architectural techniques and are thoroughly familiar with company procedures.
 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conducting FF&E and OS&E Packages reviews and supervision
• Developing design concepts and design criteria
• Preparing related reports.
• Review CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, and construction documents prepared by Architectural Designers.
• Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Interfaces with suppliers as required.
• Coordinates with the project supervision consultant regarding the document's submission process 
• Reviews, approves, and issues MARs, MIRs, and WIRs as per current protocol 
• Provides technical guidance to vendor workers on the same project.
• Ensure that All Documents related to the vendor payments are obtained and organized 
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field
• 8+ years related to hotel fit-out architecture/interior design experience

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communication skills, and familiarity with industry practices and regulations are required. Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on the project.
