Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Architect to join our team in NEOM.
What You'll Be Doing:
A passionate and experienced Solution Architect and problem solver, building/recommending solution designs to meet end user requirements.
Reporting to the Head of Solution Architecture within IT Strategy, working closely with other Business Analyst and Project Manager as well as Business Change and the business SMEs, ensuring solutions are scalable and meet business, technical and commercial requirement.
Solutions should be business led, covering a wide range of business capabilities including but not limited to Project Information Management Systems, Design & Engineering, Assurance Information Mngt Systems (AIMS), Systems of Analytics, Field Operations, Productivity, Collaboration & Conferencing, Integration Mngt, Data Centre & Network and IT4IT.
Work towards solving problems at the logical and project/product level.
Align to EA blueprints and adhere to TDA governance.
Work closely with BAs and PMs to understand the business requirements and provide solution options and/or make recommendations
Develop high level/detailed designs which can be implementation agnostically
Support the tender process and hand off to Technical Architects or Development teams and Vendors/SIs to implement solutions.
Define and manage solutions and architectural frameworks
Understand the Product Specification and assist the Project/Product Manager and Business Analysts to derive FR and NFRs
Assist the Project/Product Manager and Business Analyst to build a road map that are aligned to goals which will include outcomes and steps to achieve the outcomes
Support the Project/Product Manager by identifying frameworks and technology to fulfil the requirements
Ensure the solution is clearly aligned with the Business Capability Map and/or Business Value Streams through appropriate documentation
Create High level/detailed Solution Design and Logical Data Models and map Business/Construction Processes
Discover the volume and throughput of data and estimate the cost of running the cloud services
Submit the architecture to the review board/s for feedback and approval
Assist the Product/Project Manager with the Product Backlog(s), features and high level user stories – Use SAFE Feature Template
Guide the vendor/TA and build team if required with the technology
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
ISEB certificate in Enterprise Architecture and Solution architecture or similar
TOGAF 9, Zachman
Knowledge and experience working with enterprise Solution Architecture and data services practices, data solutions architecture and design, system development life cycle management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations and leading data related frameworks and standards.
Knowledge of all components of holistic IS and Data Governance Service
Knowledge of business process engineering principles
Understanding of the different types of agile principles, methodologies and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level.
Understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments.
Balance the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term implications of individual decisions and organization goals.
Rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), APIs, microservices, event-driven IT and advanced analytics. Mobile, custom development, RPA and ERP systems.
Good awareness or experience in Design & Construction, appreciation of Operations & Maintenance
