Landscape Design Manager
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is seeking a highly talented Landscape Design Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of complex landscape design solutions, combining technical expertise and creative vision to produce high-quality designs aligned with client expectations, industry standards, and project requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the preparation and delivery of complex landscape design drawings and CAD outputs
Apply advanced design principles and industry best practices to develop innovative, functional, and sustainable landscape solutions
Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, sustainability guidelines, and company procedures
Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and external consultants
Review and approve design layouts, 2D/3D drawings, and project documentation
Develop alternative design concepts to address project constraints and meet client requirements
Ensure all designs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including local authority approvals in Abu Dhabi
Review materials, supplier data, and shop drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications
Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting their technical and professional development
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews
Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery
Promote sustainable and environmentally responsible design practices across all projects
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline
Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in landscape design.
Strong proficiency in CAD and landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite)
Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline
Professional accreditation or membership (e.g., chartered status or equivalent)
Experience with BIM workflows and digital design tools
Strong design portfolio demonstrating creative, high-quality, and sustainable landscape solutions
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working on large-scale developments, public realm, or master-planned communities in the Middle East
Familiarity with client-side or developer-led projects and approval processes in Abu Dhabi
