Junior Stakeholder Engineer

Parsons is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Stakeholder Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will assist in managing and coordinating stakeholder engagement activities for infrastructure and engineering projects. You will work closely with senior engineers, project teams, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, alignment of project objectives, and timely resolution of stakeholder concerns. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills in stakeholder management and contribute to the success of large-scale projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting in identifying and engaging with key stakeholders, including government authorities, utility providers, contractors, and community representatives.
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of project-related documentation to stakeholders for review and approval.
  • Coordinating with project teams to ensure stakeholder requirements and concerns are addressed in project plans and designs.
  • Attending stakeholder meetings and preparing meeting minutes, action plans, and follow-up reports.
  • Assisting in resolving stakeholder issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records of stakeholder communications, approvals, and agreements.
  • Supporting the preparation of stakeholder engagement plans, reports, and presentations.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations, standards, and project-specific requirements related to stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the stakeholder management process.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, utilities, and other civil works.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Familiarity with stakeholder management processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in coordinating with government authorities and utility providers is a plus.
  • Strong report-writing and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience or internships in stakeholder engagement or infrastructure projects is preferred.
