Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HS&W Manager will advise on implementation of operational policies, procedures and processes that facilitate delivery, enhance productivity, and lead operations of safety through implementation of management plans, guidelines, and regulations. Ensure all policies, standards and procedures are adequately communicated to ensure compliance through inspections, audits, reports, regular meetings, and statistics / trend analysis.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop, implement, and manage the strategy, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.

• Establish and promote a strong Safety culture across all levels of the project organization.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team on all Safety matters.

• Ensure the development and enforcement of health and safety plans, policies, and procedures.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate workplace hazards.

• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, providing regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Develop and implement environmental management plans to ensure sustainability and regulatory compliance.

• Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource efficiency.

• Ensure environmental risks are identified and managed proactively.

• Develop and maintain the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

• Oversee quality audits, inspections, and testing processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed required standards.

• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance.

• Conduct HSE training programs and workshops to ensure all team members understand and comply with policies and procedures.

• Promote awareness of health, safety, environmental, and quality issues through campaigns and communications.

• Ensure all HSE activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and project-specific requirements.

• Prepare and submit regular HSE performance reports to project leadership and external stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate records of incidents, audits, and inspections for review and reporting purposes.

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters to ensure alignment and compliance.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE-related communications and issues.

• Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering professional growth and high performance.

• Build a collaborative and supportive team environment that emphasizes accountability and excellence.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Internationally recognized Degree or Diploma or equivalent.

• Membership to an appropriate professional body, CMIOSH or equivalent.

• 15 years’ experience in construction (with at least 3 years as Health and Safety Manager).Auditor training.

• Minimum certifications for HS&W Manager such as iDip Nebosh, Nebosh-IGC, OSHA, Grad IOSH, CSP etc .

• Excellent managerial and administrative skills
